They're highly responsive to the contained energy within Originium, but unstable enough to where a moderate disturbance will cause even processed Originium to explode. Dangerous, but potentially worthwhile, assuming transport is possible.

I cannot say with confidence that it will, at least not at this stage. We need the Forest's gargoyle to align with us, or be completely removed from the equation, wouldn't we? And we'll need counters to whatever magic he has. The illusions, for example... a single-minded, self-centred approach will not work to combat those.
To be honest, an Originium bomb in tandem with a sealing spell seems like the least of our concerns suddenly.

When we originally attacked, Flamebringer and Gnosis had explosives — I'm sure you saw the fireworks. But Flamebringer wouldn't have survived an Originium blast, which is the only reason his suicide bomber tactic worked effectively.

We do know that the Forest Himself isn't immune to explosives. But to ask Gnosis, Ezell, or anyone else to make enough miniature bombs to blow the Forest to smithereens... I suspect He would find out about it long before we completed it. Then what? Would we go back to square one? How many explosives would it take? How many would we be hauling into the forest?

It would, at the cost of damning everyone else to our fate. People who are not Terran. Would it spread to Moder and the others? Ydalir, whose body is made of shadows? If an Originium bomb can kill a Fallen God, what would it do to the Goddesses themselves?

That is correct. But I worry — I do not know if Thorns is the only Corrupted among our ranks. Certainly, he has told everyone, and we could feasibly exclude him from discussions so that the Forest does not know... but what of others? Whose minds does He lurk in?

Now that, I cannot say for sure. I want to say that Thorns is the only one, but the only way we would know is by asking...and we'd be giving ourselves away, wouldn't we?
