Drinks
Coffee with Cardamom and Saffron
Served hot or iced. Sugar optional.
Spiced Masala Chai
Black tea made with ginger, cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and black pepper, brewed in hot water and hot milk. Can be made sweeter on request.
Ayran
Cold, savory yogurt-based beverage topped with a sprig of mint.
Rose Water
Flavoured water made by steeping rose petals in water.
Hot Tea
Choose between mint, cinnamon, lemon verbena, sage, marjoram, or darjeeling.
Tamar Hindi
Sweet juice made from tamarind fruits, sugar, lemon juice, and water, served over ice.
Qamar al-Din
Thick nectar drink with a bright taste, made from dried apricots and orange blossom water.
Spiced Hot Chocolate
Slightly sweet hot chocolate, flavored with vanilla, cinnamon, chili powder, nutmeg, and cloves.
Sesa's Dragon Drank
Made by my lovely husband. Soda water, dragonfruit & pineapple chunks, lime juice, and a drizzle of coconut syrup.
Limonana
Lemonade with a minty kick, served with a fresh wedge of lemon and a topping of tart seasonal fruit.
Sobia
A creamy drink made with a mixture of coconut, ground rice, and milk, poured over ice.

Beef Shawarma
Marinated, slow-roasted flank steak served in a warm pita pocket with sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, chopped parsley, & house-made tahini sauce.
Kebabs
2 spiced & skewered lamb meat with onions, tomatoes, & bell peppers, roasted on a grill.
Samosas
Spiced potatoes & green peas in a fried pastry. Served with mint chutney.
Baba Ghanoush
Roasted eggplant dip made by mixing eggplant, tahini, garlic, citrus, & spices. Served with warm pita bread.
Roasted Garlic Hummus
Dip made with chickpeas, garlic, tahini, & parsley. Served with warm pita bread.
Tabbouleh
Salad made with finely chopped parsley, tomatoes, mint, onion, soaked bulgur, and seasoned with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and sweet pepper.
Sargonian Orange Chicken Curry
Traditional spiced chicken curry served over a bed of white rice.
Vegan Mushroom Shawarma
Traditional shawarma using portabello mushrooms instead of meat, and topped with tahini sauce.
Plant-Based Hashweh
A plant based/vegan version of a Sargonian stuffing which includes ground and chopped brown mushrooms, onions, and pine nuts.
Chicken Kabsa
Sargon's national dish, made with basmati rice and chicken cooked together in a pot and spiced with cumin, caradamom, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and coriander.

Ma'amoul
Filled butter cookie made with semolina flour. Filled with dates, ground pistachios, or cinnamon and ground walnuts.
Baklava
Layered dessert made of filo pastry, filled with chopped nuts, and sweetened with honey.
Semolina Pudding
Porridge-type pudding made from semolina. Includes sweet-tart cranberries, thick coconut cream, ground pistachios, and a floral-scented syrup. Vegan.
Kanafeh
Also called "sweet cheese pastry". Consists of hot cheese in between layers crispy shredded phyllo dough in a sweet syrup. Served hot.
Mesh Om Ali
Pleated sheets of phyllo dough, soaked and flavored with a combination of sweetened condensed milk and cream, topped with puffs of ground cinnamon and a sprinkle of nuts. Crisp on the outside, creamy on the inside.
Rose Mehalabya
Creamy milk pudding infused with a touch of rose and orange blossom waters, adorned with rose syrup topping and garnished with caramelized pistachios.
Syrupy Lemon Olive Oil Semolina Cake
Sunny semolina cakes soaked in a lemon-honey syrup and topped with candied lemon slices.
Booza
Frozen dairy dessert made with milk, cream, sugar, mastic and sahlab, giving it a stretchy and chewy texture. Served in a bowl or a cone.
Babka
Sweet, braided brioche-like bread filled with dark chocolate, topped with a simple sugar syrup.
Luqaimat
Sargonian donut balls. Crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, drizzled with a sugar syrup.
Atayef
Sargonian "pancakes" filled with sweet white cheese and nuts, then soaked in a rose sugary syrup.
Ricotta Kunafa Rolls
Creamy ricotta cheese wrapped inside golden, crunchy strands of sticky sweet kunafa. Topped with a sprinkle of crushed pistachios.
Muhalabieh
A creamy Sargonian milk pudding infused with rose water and topped with crushed pistachios.
Harissa
A semolina cake filled with a sweet cream filling, drizzled with syrup and decorated with nuts. Also available in half or whole portions; inquire at the counter.
